"Elaine has worked closely with us at Girls Heart Point to
counsel to the girls and mothers today. Her discernment, knowledge of
the culture and wisdom has always been right on."
Onalee Mitchell, Director,
Girls Heart Point Ministry
"Linking arms with those of like vision and purpose
strengthens our own weak areas. The health of our families,
organizations and communities depends on it."
Girls Heart Point
Some of the hardest realities girls face right now are the powerful and
negative messages designed to affect what they believe about their
worth and destiny. Because of these messages, young girls often become
so disappointed in their own body image and self worth, that they
indulge in harmful activities in an attempt to mask their frustration
and pain. As an executive member of Girls Heart Point, Elaine provides
knowledge and experience to help build an alternate message or truth,
real identity and destiny. www.girlsheartpoint.ca
London Crisis Pregnancy Center
Recognizing the need to defend the cause of the weak and fatherless,
and to defend the rights of the poor and oppressed, Elaine has built a
connection with the London Crisis Pregnancy Center providing practical
counsel to their clients in distress because of an unplanned pregnancy.
It has been my pure privilege to support young women in a
crisis situation. I'm all about women helping women!"

Many local organizations have tapped into Elaine's counseling expertise
to help train and mentor their volunteers who find themselves in
counseling situations.
"Investing in volunteers is a win/win
situation. The organization receives more skilled help, the volunteer
feels and is more useful. The enjoyment of volunteering doubles."
Mentoring Women
Leaders
"
If I can duplicate my strengths into upcoming leaders, I
have become more personally effective."
Leadership development and mentoring is a road Elaine is committed to
travel. Taking on two or three emerging leaders each year,
Elaine invests her time into the lives of young women, helping them to
become the influencers they were meant to be.
